By BIKA D'Poet( Boah Isaac Kweku)
As I flew over the land of external peace,
The clouds I saw were falsely pure in white
The trees were partly green and weakened
Who holds In his hands the successful keys,
That should light the false clouds bright,
And would nurse the extinctions to till the end?
For the politicians look without seeing.
The citizens see without always looking.
Their pendulum never ever stopped ticking.
Where is the dignity of minds in Ghana?
One person cried; I will make a change!
The determination caught fire of rage
The illiterates protested against deeds shallowed
The educated lost their pride and followed
They followed the individual to Ghana's integrity
And the politicians lamented over their indignity
Workers screened themselves of their dirt
Children praised their parents for birth
The unwholesome attitude of the peaceful nation
Has changed into habits of glorification
In my last view of Ghana above,
Politics was treated in every corner with love.
Respect flooded the insane streets,
A strong of breeze now fleets.
The standards are now set with visions,
The youth are now grouped for missions,
The homes filled with hard work and holiness
Ghana is now next to godliness.
A spark in heart lifted their banner,
This is the restored dignity of our Ghana.
